Will there be parking outside the event for pick up trucks?
ReplyDeleteWhat is the latest we can arrive and enter with our truck and then put it where’ve to park?
Like every Van Nationals, pickup trucks will not be allowed after Tuesday at midnight. There is a lot across the street for parking.
DeleteWill there be a extra charge for early campers,,per day????
ReplyDeleteCan I bring my 13’ vintage camper. It’s a companion to my van and part of my presentation. I’m not sure what the rules are regarding this
ReplyDeleteMy suggestion is to go to vanning.com and go from there.
DeleteWho is the contact for golf carts?
ReplyDeleteThat would be me as well. Rentals are $360 for the week, payable before Nationals by sending check to the remittance address above.
DeleteI am the contact for golf carts. My info is all over this web page.
Deletedo you accept walk-ins? if so cost? is there a place to park outside the midway? we dont want to stay all night there, we have a hotel in Brattleboro VT we only want to visit during the day and check out all the activities and vans.
ReplyDeleteyou can "walk-in" if you pay the gate fee. it isn't uncommon for some vanenrs to stay at hotel at night, but the price of admission is still the same.
DeleteWalk-Ins are not permitted at the Van Nationals. There will be a parade and public van show on Friday - see schedule for more details.
ReplyDeleteI thought Parade was on Thursday? Anyone know about what time the parade to town starts?
DeletePropane grills ok?? is there a list of activities for kids?
ReplyDeletepropane grills are fine, and there will be plenty of activities for kids. that will get published closer to the event

DeleteI know of a few non vanners looking to check out the scene one day. Will there be a specific day for this? Or are they welcome to stop by any day? Thanks!
ReplyDeletethere are no walk-ins, there will be a public show they can check out however.
DeleteSome questions.
ReplyDeleteI'm assuming the pre-reg includes a site (to park and sleep, like a campsite) and
that would be for all nights of event?
Would you be able to come and go (drive out and in) as you please once you are registered or are you "locked In".?
Is there any kind of electric hookup and is that included?
How likely would it be to get a spot day of event for the extra 10 buck gate fee?
Thanks so much, I don't see this info listed.
registration is entrance to the event, there are no assigned campsites. it's a fairground, parking/camping is wherever you pick a spot.
Deleteyou can come and go as you please
there is electric, just bring extension cords.
pre-reg doesn't guarantee a spot, it's just admission to the event, all camping is first come/first served.
what day and time is the pub crawl?
ReplyDeletethere isn't a pub crawl on the schedule.
Deletehttps://www.van-nationals.com/p/schedule-of-events.html

there is plenty of room and plenty of electricity, no different from any other fairground the nats have been hosted at
DeleteIs there a map of campground showing shower and electric places ?
DeleteI saw a flyer that said Van's and panel trucks .
ReplyDeleteWhat is a panel truck or panel wagon ?
Are they included ?
examples of panels, https://tinyurl.com/y6yyvbhm
DeleteI have a motorcycle that resides in my van (not on a trailer or hitch). Once my van is parked can I use the motorcycle to come and go within the grounds or entry and exit from grounds?
ReplyDeleteriding a motorcycle isn't permitted at a nats.. only vehicles allowed to drive in and out once the event starts are vans and panels, all others have to be parked outside the gate.
DeleteThank you for the reply! I’ll just leave it at home this go around!
